Am i the only person who doesn't get a UI for hardware monitor. I've installed it loads of times and it still doesn't show on screen. When i look in activity monitor it shows as being loaded and working. If i access it from applications and click quick view i can get a screen with two options, 1 being open and the other being forward to airdrop or something. I really want this working so i can check the details from it.

Thank you to anybody that tell me what i'm doing wrong here.

I'm running 10.10.3 with clover install

Anybody knows how to get fan speed readings on ASUS X55 laptops?

I would like to know where to start digging if it is something that needs a lot of work.

Thanks to this wonderful program, after install , almost all sensors work perfectly!

Thank you so much for this program, and a big thanks to the creator of SMC emulator, without him, most of Hackintosh would be impossible

Hmmm ... Would there be any other alternative to HW Monitor?

Or some DSDT patch so that HWMonitor would read it?

You can try this

https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-FakeSMC-kozlek

Here maide helping you

attaching the HWM I am used on my HP Probook 4530s all working

I tried the attached HWMonitor and FakeSMC, and it works the same way. No fan speed. @Herve is right. There is need of ACPI patching or some other kext?.. What could I do?

I attach here my current IOREG

kosakgroove IOREG.zip

By looking at current IOREG, compared to the one I submitted when it was working, the SMCD device seems unchanged.... :(
