I downloaded the new version you compiled from ProjectOSX and it's working just fine on my ML installation on my Dell Inspiron 1720. The purpose of the kext is to provide other plugins with information what is the real hardware you use because a bootloader say that you use real Mac OemSmbios.kext gives more info that you can use in ITE.kext/info.plist to configure your sensor.
