LarryM.net
I got some OSX 10.4.6 dvd, not sure by who. It works great, installs fine, boots fine, but... during regular boot at the darwin promt i get a black screen with text that zips by, before it loads the GUI. This is not in -x Safe Boot, and I have no idea why the gray apple boot screen is missing. Does any one else have this problem and is there any way to fix this? -Larry
ThaHackBoy
Look in your com.apple.Boot.plist, there will be an option you have to edit to Yes.
Rammjet
Look in this file: /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist In the line following "Kernel Flags", if there is a -v, remove it.

LarryM.net
EDIT #2: I read that my boot time will go faster if I delete APPLEHWSENSOR.kext, is this true?
