DMMA Posted July 27, 2012 Share Posted July 27, 2012 Well, people get this issue solved by - installing FakeSMC 4.2 - installing Fan Control 1.2 daemon (or SMCping daemon) - changing VRAM size at bios - disabling kernel cache - patching HD 3000 kext - installing IntelCpuMonitor kext - installing AppleHDA (Toledo) - putting Dock to the left - installing discrete replacing video The issue with HD 3000 artefacts is known to have memory/voltage management roots. So when you suggest to replace the cable i really wonder, are you familair with the issue or just suggesting the first thing that comes to your mind? Later my laptop screen was broken so now i use vga. I boot usb choose mountain lion everything booted up but no ps2 devices working. I followed all instructions. Later next day i booted the same usb it got stuck on initalized nvda100hal and whatever. And then dsmos has arrived and it crashed. Then i made a lion installer from your old guide. I wasnt able to boot it up. It was crashing at the same point. Is the proble with vga? And even if it is why my keyoard and touchpad do not work? Please help me. I'll see if i can get gray cable. i don't care about warranty, but it seems like it's not easy to get it in Russia. I'm about to call all Dell service centers in Moscow, if it won't help I'll try to order it from ebay. Btw, can i just judge cable by color? Some cables are solid gray, some solid black, i think I've also seen mixed cable with both gray and black parts on google pictures. Is there more reliable way to check if cable is good? I passed all steps which described in first post video, and I get my bootable usb stick. But when I try to boot into installation, computer restarts immediately without any logs on screen. DMMA Posted July 29, 2012 Share Posted July 29, 2012 Дык You probably need to throw in NullCPUPowerManagement.kext or patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext, or patch your bios for native PM support. (i had a boot0 error but i fixed it with the solution in the issus.) but i have one qution. i have rtl8187b wlan adapter and i need a drivers for it. the kext in the post install lib is not work for it. thanks, and sorry about the english. NTFS volume name My data, version 3.1. this usually means that osx has frozen during launching GUI simplest thing you can do is remove (backup them) all Nvidia/ATI/Intel Video kexts from S:L:E and see if system boots after that you can also try booting in safe mode (-x) chances are you just need to get rid of nvidia kexts 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
