Hi

I have a Toshiba Satellite a660 Laptop:

CPU: Core i5 450M Quad Core (4 cores, 8 threads)

GPU: nVidia GT 330M (HDMI/VGA/Laptop Display) = Works

RAM: 8GB DDR3 1066MHz (2x4GB) = Works

Ethernet: RTL8101E/RTL8102E PCI Express Fast Ethernet controller = Works

Wi-Fi: BCM4313 802.11b/g LP-PHY = Does not work :thumbsup_anim: (got a solution post it with your reply)

Card Reader: JMicron, SD/MMC Host Controller/xD Host/ ControllerMS Host ControllerStandard SD Host Controller = Does not work ((got a solution post it with your reply)

Bluetooth: see Wi-Fi

Disc tray: Blu-Ray reader = Works

USB: 4x USB 2.0 ports with eSata = Works, have not tested eSata though

TV tuner: YUAN High-Tech Development dvt-b = works or not don't know need software for it

Webcam:Chicony Electronics built in = works

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, iAtkos L1

So anyway I have a Core i5 450M, and I can only boot with the cpus=1 boot flag

so I only get 1 Core out 4 and 8 threads

Is there a fix for this such as a custom kernel or a certain Kext or removal of certain Kext or generally a new boot loader

Edit: I removed NullCPUPowerManagement.kext but I didn't check before I did it but turns out when I put in cpus=1 I see this in System Information:

"Processor Name: Intel Core i5

Processor Speed: 2.39 GHz

Number of Processors: 1

Total Number of Cores: 2

L2 Cache: 128 KB

L3 Cache: 768 KB"

So that's two cores and less than the full amount of l2 and l3 cache

I would really appreciatte getting the system working to full and if not full at least the most possible missing my wireless most off all but I figured theres gotta be a solution for the CPU

Edit: Still 2 cores is being seen as 1 (not allowing me to show an average for multiple cores/processors as single display
