doofoo
Problems here. Box is: Not sure which other patches other than SSE3 and the general. I think I may have installed one of the Audio drivers, as well as the wireless. ASUS P5W-DH Deluxe Pentium 940D 7600GT Video Card SATA 250GB Drive + DVDR. Using the JAS 10.4.6 DVDR with Intel mods installed, install goes completely fine. But after it's done installing I get the following error: "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button for several seconds or press the Restart button" Arconis and all that was fine, it showed Unknown after the install, etc. Windows still works fine, just no OSX. sad.gif Any idea's here? Thanks! Errors I get are: Matching service count = 1 Matching service count = 2 Sep 5 11:46:53 kextd[34]: kld_load_from_memory() failed for module /System/Library/Extensions/IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin.kext/Contents/MacOS/ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin Sep 5 11:46:53 kextd[34] a link/load error occured for kernel extension /System/Library/Extensions/IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext /Contents/PlugIns/ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin.kext Apple16X50ACPI1: Identified Serial Port on ACPI Device=UAR1 Apple16X50UARTSync1: Detected 16550AF/C/CF FIFO=16 MaxBaud=115200 Sep 5 11:46:54 kextd[43]: a link/load error occured for kernel extension /System/Library/Extensions/AppleMLANAudio.kext Sep 5 11:46:54 kextd[44]: a link/load error occured for kernel extension /System/Library/Extensions/AudioIPCDriver.kext panic(cpu 1 caller 0x0019C352): Unresolved kernel trap (CPU 1, Type 14=page fault), registers: CR0: 0x8001003b, CR2: 0x00000000, CR3: 0x00af4000, CR4: 0x000006a0 EAX: 0x00000000, EBX: 0x00000000, ECX: 0x0366be00, EDX: 0x030ade60 ESP: 0x00000000, EBP: 0x249b3e64, ESI: 0x035840c0, EDI: 0x03584080 EFL: 0x00010246, EIP: 0x3ab9cd3d, CS: 0x00000000, DS: 0x249b0010 Debugger called: <panic> Backtrace, Format - Frame : Return Address (4 potential args on stack) a bunch of other hex values here.. my hands hurt from typing: ... Am I correct in my assumptions that I should remove AppleMLANAudio.kext, AudioPCDriver.kext, ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin.kext all from the directories? Or should it only be one of these? Not exactly sure here from the issues. I can boot up in the Safe Mode however fine. Any help would be appreciated. Rarmander
When you customize you have to choose Amd or Intel. Also, SSE2 or SSE3. That box comes up when you don't customize it correctly. You chose one of the Audio drivers during Customize and audio (AppleHDA) is causing your kernel panic. Try reinstalling without choosing one of the audio drivers. Yeah I got the SSE3 correct. I just picked a audio driver that's giving me problems. In the process of install now.
