(for the moment i'm happy with HD3000) but our bios is locked... only now i solved rebooting problem after modding my bios to remove whitelist Booting without flags is possible... I tell you what i did in order to boot from HD: Installed lion using [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] and after the first boot (i booted with the flags cpus=1 busratio=XX -x -v) i installed chimera from [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] on HD andcopied the Extra/Extensions folder fron USB with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] to the Extra folder on my HD then i start tuning my system... (now i have chameleon with facetime and icloud fix ( i installed this release only to solve login problem with no success )) thank you for the tip, but my first try to install OSX no HP was using [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] with no sucess. the only thing that worked was the appleworm DMG. My approach with lion was terrible too... I was able to install only this package from appleworm, but i was always booting with flags, no matter DSDT editing or kext loaded was always the same.... I tried to boot from the usb stick in the hope that te dvd would show up... But, no it didn't, only my hard drive partitions were visible... Then I burned another DVD with a bootloader (chimera) and booted it. Then removed this one from the drive and inserted the other one but it didn't show up once again... What am I doing wrong? Do I have to restore the .dmg to a usb and install chameleon on that same stick? There's no alternative? That doesn't make much sense... Bootloaders should be able to detect this .dmg on a dvd... First of all do you have a working mac or a virtual machine with mac os under windows? In every case you have to mount the dmg from appleworm and then you have to go in utility disk and restore the dmg on usb stick and then you have to install the bootloader on the usb stick, reboot chose usb in the bios boot option (f8 key, if i don't go wrong) and then bootloader main window should appear... then install (probably you will need some boot flags). Nel pacchetto di installazione c'è una cartella "extra" che ha tutti i kext necessari per una prima installazione... una volta installato il lion io ti consiglio come primo passo di installare il bootloader e successivamente di copiare la cartella extra dalla usb all'hard disk, poi sta a te, con l'ausilio dei vari forum eseguire un "tuning" dei kext adatti al tuo sistema... When i plug everything in USB3 (looking the monitor, on the left) my OS freeze... hi gabriel, mine freeze too with USB3 ktext. i removed the USB3 ktext. and use the USB3 port only to plug my USB BOOT, it works great during boot. in this way my USB don´t appears in the OSX and the USB Boot is always plug in. I know it´s not a perfect, but since a cannot but form HD i think it´s a good solution. Hope in a near future i can fix USB3, 6770m and my BOOT=0 Error. Anyway i'll attach mine here, for me is working good... For the EFI partition sorry i can't help cause i don't have it...
