I've been trying to install osx on my acer m5811

everything seems to go fine, but when I restart the apple gray screen comes up and just restarts.

 

What am I doing wrong here.

What settings do I need customize here to get it booted up

8GB ddr3

Nvidia GeForce GT320 1GB

Intel 82578DC gigabit network

Intel® ICH8R/ICH9R/ICH10R/DO/PCH SATA RAID Controller

Hello drecam...

 

First of all, u could try removing ur RAM... Just leave ur RAM as 4GB only rather than 8GB... If u just bought ur acer m5811, then this will make ur acer warranty's void...

 

If u don't want to do this, then u could try starting up ur SL with cpus=1 busratio=20 ... Usually that does the trick... If u still can't get to the desktop, then the last thing that I would do is enter -v -f at the startup screen...

I've tired what you said with the exception of taking out the RAM, still no luck :)
