juanerson
Hi guys. From I know, but it can be wrong: - 10.7.2 (in BETA fase) is for developer testing purposes, new features etc. - 10.7.1 will be released (maybe not) for bugs-fixes purposes, without need developer testing. fantomas
or it may simply be an error on the part of Apple, the latest update (11C26) might well have been the 10.7.1 and the new (11C35) of 10.7.2, right? What is it with the first update, it has a 10.7.2 !!! P.S : no change in the name of the update ; it stay 10.7.2 but only the passage of the 11C26 to 11C35 !! There must be another explanation why Apple has not released the 10.7.1 !!
miliuco
Tried in a 10.7.2 (no preview) system, installed iCloud 6 beta without errors. But I haven't been able to connect using my Apple_ID, I get a "server error", ¿perhaps the service is not available in Spain for now?
mitch_de
Also no probe here (C2D, NV 9600GT). I also getting iCloud server problem, console: 08.08.11 08:54:45,424 System Preferences: AOSKit INFO: CFURLConnection: Connection failed with error (url: https://setup.icloud.com/configurations/init): errDomain=kCFErrorDomainCFNetwork, errCode=-1004 I can reach that server by using the above https... in Safari, so the server is "there" but can't/ will not work "with me". PS: I installed the iClouf Beta 6 after the new Lion 10.7.2 update - can that be an problem?

mitch_de
AppleRTC wasn't updated from C26, so already patched AppleRTC stays untouched. (Most users had CMOS BIOS reset probe with Lion after restarts/shutdowns) THats the patch, if you haven't patched before to fix that CMOS reset (needed, even you have no probe with already done RTC fix by DSDT and have problems now with LION) sudo perl -pi -e 's|\x75\x30\x44\x89\xf8|\xeb\x30\x44\x89\xf8|; s|\x75\x3d\x8b\x75\x08|\xeb\x3d\x8b\x75\x08|' /System/Library/Extensions/AppleRTC.kext/Contents/MacOS/AppleRTC

fantomas
These updates are strange...up to 10.7.2...but they've only been released to developers everytime? hi this is normal, developers pay a subscription and receive in first the "beta" updates to test their applications and all what Apple asked, such iCloud, Graphics, Network and other ! Once all the bugs have been identified by the developers and corrected by Apple, this update will be proposed to the public, on the Apple's site of and the Apple Software Update ! So there is nothing strange about these updates !
mitch_de
Yepp, and beside that, Steve also support us hackintosh users with that, to check & patch early before the final builds came up. tdtran1025
I don't have problems others encountered, but I noticed something different. My rig is a friendly and basic p45 chipset, so it loads all the basic vanilla kexts-no problem there. Since the update to 11C26, my idle temperature has dropped quite a bit. Could this be the result of Apple's tweaking of AppleIntelCPU power management? I don't know, but the result is very real since I still have a partition with 11A511 to compare with. The NVidia GTX460-2Mb is running right out of the box since Lion and there's no surprise here either. 11C35 poses no glitch for me, to make it short.
