Hi guys, I just installed Lion over my SL partition to preserve Chimera which I need to boot into Lion, as using ##### Legacy makes the boot sequence just freeze. I don't mean get stuck after a certain point, it actually freezes in the middle of a read out.

Anyway, so I have Lion over 10.6.8, and when I go through Chimera, with only the -v tag, it boots to a white screen with a cursor. I can move the cursor around, and if I do a lot of clicking it can go the the loading wheel.

I am just pretty confused right now, I am repairing permissions/repairing disk right now and we'll see how it goes.

Any help would be appreciated.

I tried all of em to no avail:

-v

-v -x

-v -x -s (made it to single user)

-v -x arch=x86_64

I even tried booting with ##### again, it still just freezes.

I have two 6950 Twin Frozr IIIs, a 2600k at 4.5Ghz, and a P67A-GD65 if it matters.

Well, the install worked fine, it just needed GraphicsEnabler=No. It opened right up and was even at full res. That's why I'm worried though for booting into the Lion OS - it's at full res. I didn't delete the .bundle to get it to resolution switching yet, so shouldn't it still be at the 1024x768?

I'm on a U2311H so the res is 1080p.

Try 'npci=0x2000' flag at boot
