Hi all, I loaded bootcamp and vista yesterday to check it out, then decided to test bootamp's removal of vista(just to test). After removal, once I rebooted , I got a question mark icon on the grey screen, right before the apple icon showed up. Anyone seen this?? I figure it was looking for where the hard disk choice screen was(when vista was installed). Well I went into osx, repaired disk permissions and no problems were found. Guess it's a good thing I bought that 120gb WD passport and backed up OSX with superduper! before I started all this tinkering...LOL. Well anyway, if this sounds familiar to anyone(or if anyone knows how to fix it), I sure would appreciate the advice, as i may eventually have to reinstall OSX otherwise. As for now I went ahead and put vista back on, and I'm gonna play around some more for a few days (while I decide whether or not to activate). :)

By the way...SuperDuper! rocks!!! :2cents:

Yep. Thats nothin to worry about. Used to do it when you had to delete the efi partition too. If you've used bootcamp to install Vista, restart once again, and the questionmark folder wont popup any longer.

I think (think) it used to do it when i installed Xp as well. But just that first restart after installing the second OS. If it continually comes up, and you used boot camp to install, then you might want to look into that further.
