trelek
I am using the ASUS WL-167G V3 usb wireless dongle it works perfectly. Hope that helps Hey, which driver exactly are you using? I have one of these sticks but no CD. I downloaded the driver from the asus website (chose version 10.6) and when I try opening the "wireless utility" application it simply keeps bouncing on the dock and never opens... Paddy O
The tiny Airlink AWLL5088 works OOB on Lion using the provided 10.6 driver. It is currently about $14 on Amazon. Only drawback for me is that it only supports WPA2-PSK, not WPA2 Enterprise.
ipatchtwopointo
i just bought TRENDnet TEW-649UB mini USB wi-fi and use official driver for Mac 10.6 from the web it's work http://www.trendnet.com/products/proddetai...9UB&cat=171 driver: http://www.trendnet.com/downloads/list_sub...3&SUBMIT=Go Update [10/12/2011] This USB adapter does work in OS X 10.7.1, you have to use the WiFi utility supplied with the installer package to join a wireless network. I too just bought the TRENDnet and it is not working in Snow Leopard 10.7.1. This is the message I am getting. I installed the official driver from the website, and I rebooted, and below is what I am getting in the network prefs.
tlfrance
This is the same version as I use in both Snow and Lion. (I have a ralink branded USB dongle, not an OEM btw)You do not need to boot in 32-bit mode, as the Ralink kext supports 64-bit as well. (which my system is using). The tool to configure the card is 32-bit, but it works fine regardless. How do you connect to your wifi without the wifi utility ?
TeddyBe
I use a D-Link DWA-131 and it work like a charm...Drivers from D-Link website Where???? Can't find them.... greetz, Ted
AnssaienlyMac
couldn't get Zydas Wi-Fi Dongle to work in Mountain Lion Golden Master because it does not support 32-Bits whatsoever! but hopefully I found the Built-In Ethernet Driver for my network card that works for 64-Bits kernel. I think that's the plan as long as nobody could make a 64-Bits driver for Zydas Dongle. problem is I need to drill a wall to do so .
