jamesboy303
I Dual booted my Windows 7 and Mac successful like 4 months ago. I left it on 10.6.3 because i didn't want to run into problems. For some reason i cannot get 64 bit mode to work. I am one of these people who wants to have a mac for the editing etc... But i cant get much without 64 bit. Heres my specs: Can somebody please tell me how or what i need to buy so i can run 64 bit. Even if it needs a new part in my PC i will buy it, I had £300 handy. 3.14r2
viju says: Does this kernel work fine on x86_64 systems? nawcom says: Yes – I’ve heard that it works in 64 bit kernelmode for some AMD CPUs, but not others. If you have an Intel CPU that supports 64 bit, then you should be able to boot in 64 bit just fine – just remove arch=i386 from com.apple.Boot.plist if you have it there. A quotation from nawcom's blog, legacy kernel 10.6.8 topic.
