Foxic
Hi I keep getting kernel panics when using bittorrent, when playing flash games and I've also had one when deleting a bulk of emails in a hotmail account using Mail. I've booted in verbose mode and opened bittorrent and surely enough, just as it finishes checking the file I get a panic, pic attached. Could anyone help me pin this down and get it solved. The system is an msi wind u100 clone which runs an atheros network card so: Atom n270 cpu 1gb ram Intel GMA950 graphics (q/e working) I have 10.6.7 running fairly well except for the kernel panics, sleep works, trackpad works properly with 2 finger scroll etc. I'm using a dsdt file and the following kexts: In E/E FakeSMC VoodooPS2Controller Voodootrackpad AtherosL1cEthernet In S/L/E VoodooHDA 27aeAppleIntelGMA950 27aeAppleIntegrated Framebuffer AppleACPIBatteryManager IO80211Family Thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/259840-please-help-me-solve-a-kernel-panic/ Share on other sites
ifrit05
Open Console.app and search for Kernel or Bittorrent, it should list the panic somewhere in there and what's causing it (usually under backtrace).
