carlosgs91
Hi, I tried to install Hackintosh and when booting I got a Kernel Panic. I think I may fix the problem by adding cpus=1 (as the kernel panic said something about cpus) Anyway, how do I add the flag -cpus=1 when booting? When I boot the DVD, the Chamaleon screen appears, and if I press f8 I have more options, but I can't find one that says something like "add your own flags", I can only boot verbose, single user and normally, so how do I add cpus=1 flag or any other flag? Gringo Vermelho
At the Chameleon GUI simply start typing, the command prompt will appear at the bottom of the screen on the first keypress. boot- and kernel flags are set in /extra/com.apple.Boot.plist. I had Ubuntu but I installed Hackintosh where Ubuntu was and when I turn on the computer a `grub scape´appears. I have tried installing ##### but the Grub message still appears and I need a DVD to Boot into OSX or Windows :/ Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/258275-add-flags-in-chamaleon-bootloader/#findComment-1691713 Share on other sites
ifrit05
Follow this guide (Delete just the MBR, NOT PARTITION THE TABLE!) using the Ubuntu LiveCD/DVD After, boot using your OSX BootCD and install Chameleon/Chimera. Good luck. Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/258275-add-flags-in-chamaleon-bootloader/#findComment-1691720 Share on other sites
