nexus77777
Hi, if you can't launch OSXTools (up to 10.6.7), try EFiStudio 1.0 or 1.1 (outdated too) or better gfxutils command line utility ... if someone had a dsdt edit for this ENGT210 Asus card , I will appreciate> PM, thanks... morothorwol
I've been using nVidia GeForce 210 since i began with hackintosh, always connected via VGA monitors and everything worked 100% regard graphics without installing or changing absolutely nothing in Mountain Lion and Mavericks. Now i wanted to use double display, and as i have two VGA minitors i bought a DVI to VGA adapter. The issue is that i can't use the native resolution (1920x1080) in the monitor connected via VGA to DVI. Anything i could do? PD: I tried this method and no result Thanks

99558
This card works out of box in 10.6.8 and 10.9.0 but somehow shows a wrong Device ID in 10.8??? (all with standard kexts btw)Controller: NVIDIA (0x0be3) vender (ok) device ID: (0be3) is not correct…….should be Device ID: (0x0a65)Revision ID: (0x00a2)error, failed to open PCI device.?????Has me beat, why would it read wrong only on mountain lion?BTW, the Mavericks is the Niresh iso, just loaded and worked….except for my 889aaudio, even worked with the an old 8400gs i had in at the time. old Q6600 quad, 35-ds3p.Asus 210 silent ddr3 IG. Tmarkr
I tried to make a custom EFI string but the OSx86 Tools don't work propably :/ the Error message that appears is the following AppleScript Error Can't make "0" into type boolean.(-1700) Is there a way to get around this message ? I'm getting this same error message when I click on the "add EFI string" button and I have removed GraphicEnabler=Yes from my com.apple.Boot.plist now what?? this is for a Nvidia geForce 210 512mb will the PCIRoot=1(2,3,4) make a difference in the graphic card?? would the EFI string from the first post work for a 512mb eventhough it is for a 1gb?? manmal
hi, is there an updated version of GFX string creator with newer models with multiple hdmi/display ports too to put into clover configuration? I would like to have an EFI-string configuration for using DVI-VGA-HDMI connectors (in dual-displays mode combining 2 of them, but with all connectors working) thanks!
