Hi MaLd0n,

My apologies if this isn't the right forum.

While trying to install Lion, the screen flashes and the computer just reboots. Options -v, GraphicsEnabler=Yes had no effect.

I have attached dsl file of my PC. The components are:

Abit IP35-Pro

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550

Diamond 5770 Model 5770PE51GT

I tried to compile but was getting errors, can you plz patch and compile this for me?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi MaLd0n,

I'm now able to boot into the installer, but after selecting English from the first dialog box, I ge t"Max OS X can't be installed on this computer".

At least I made some progress .

Edit: After putting OSInstall.mpkg, it didn't show "Can't install" error.

Hi MaLd0n,

I successfully installed Lion, #####, etc. I then used ##### to install ATY_Init.kext and now the display comes up as blank.

1. Can I boot with -x option, and then restore the original kext? -x option still gave me blank screen. Help?

2. How do I enable the Diamond 5770 properly? Used these kexts: http://tonymacx86.com/download/file.php?id=11761, DP works

3. How can I enable 64-bit? changed Kernel Flag arch=x86_64, which enabled 64-bit.

Thanks

Hi MaLd0n,

can u help me please????

Hi, I’ve a tricky problem whit my Hackintosh.

Whit leopard 10.5.8 my pc works perfectly.

My MB is asus p5e3 deluxe (NO WIFI) , q6600 and 8800 gt 512 oc. I installed successfully Lion whit usb metod and chameleon rc5 r1083.

First of all I Booted whit my USB and I haven’t any problem with shutdown.

After that I installed on my lion hdd chamalen rc5 r875, extra_macpro3.1, added in boot.plist GeneratePStates ………, IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector, LegacyAHCI, NullCPUPowerManagement, but not dsdt auto patcher (the link didn’t work) , And I repaired the permissions.

Everything works fine except Shutdown (half shutdown, monitor off usb and fan on) , sleep and Audio.

I tried to remove NullCPUPowerManagement but the situation was the same.

I reinstalled NullCPUPowerManagement and evoreboot.

Now my pc can shutdown properly but sleep still doesn’t work.

What should I do????

thanks

You are lucky my Xfx 5770 wont even boot Lion. Going to flash a new bios so it can be recognized.

I've searched for my patch at olarila, but unfortunately list stops at GA-Z68XP-UD4. :/

Hey guys, I have a small problem. I have followed this guide to the point multiple times and tried multiple times but every time I try to boot from the USB drive it keeps telling me that there is "no boot sector on the usb device". Does anyone happen to know the reason for this or would have a solution? I am using a VMware Mac lion install to format the usb device but that shouldn't be a problem should it?

Thanks

It boots so fast :P

Just one thing, audio: it doesn't work.

I tried:

a)

S/L/E/AppleHDA.kext 2.0.8

;)

E/E/ALC8xxHDA.kext v1.01

S/L/E/AppleHDA.kext 2.1.1 from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=265962

c) ##### style

ALC8xxHDA.kext + AppleHDA.kext

and nothing...

System Profiler reports:

Intel High Definition Audio:

Line Output:
Connection:	1/8-Inch Jack
External Microphone / iPhone Headset:

Any suggestions?

Obrigado! ;)

Works! What does the enabler do, bypass DSDT data?

Please note that I can hear some pops right after audio driver idles. If no sound output for a few seconds, looks like audio driver sleeps and when comes back from that state it makes a pop sound, like when powering computer.

I also had on KP after a pop sound, while copying some files.

How can I dump more detail info about this issue?
