OSX 10.6.7

Nawcoms modified 10.7.0 kernel

O/C to 4.2 GHZ

Pre install checks

 

Boot with 4gb ram or less (otherwise you will get KP saying stealing mem)

Set DVD drive as first boot

Set hard drive as second boot

Set bios to use AHCI

Turn off OC Genie

Turbo on

 

Install

 

Load [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] Legacy

At main screen eject [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] disk insert S/L disk

Press F5 and load S/L disk (do not need any flags)

Reboot with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] legacy

Install 10.6.7 combo***do not reboot***

Install P8P67 Proinstall package

Reboot with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] legacy

Open [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] and select OSx86 software

Go to applications and open up showallfiles utility

Click on show

Now go to your root folder and delete Mach_kernel

Replace with Nawcoms modified 10.7.0 kernel

Open showallfiles utility and click hide

Open disk utility and repair permissions

Reboot WITHOUT [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] legacy with the flag busratio=34

There you are 64 bit goodness.

 

 

Post install

 

Install 8gb of ram

**I7-2600K Users ** CPU ratio to 34 in bios

**I5-2500K Users ** CPU ratio to 33 in bios

**I7-2600K Users Open com.apple.boot.plist and add busratio=34 to strings.

**I7-2500K Users Open com.apple.boot.plist and add busratio=33 to strings.

Install RTGmac_v2.0.6 for network
