johnniecarcinogen
Go to go here on portforward.com and follow the guide on forwarding ports on your corresponding router if you are unfamiliar with doing this. Then follow the guide on configuring Azureus to use the forwarded ports here. Or you can enable UPnP on your router and have Azureus automatically map ports to use and open them. But by nature UPnP is less secure. Applications having the ability to open ports without any authorization sounds like a problem waiting to happen. johnniecarcinogen
Your 'hardware firewall' is just your router. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/25333-azureus-says-i-have-a-firewall/#findComment-172066 Share on other sites
armo
if you google port forwarding and the model of your router it will have walk-throughs how to do it. also if you look on the brand of your routers website they will have it in the faq. Also if you are still having problems sometimes ISP lately have been blocking the common ports for bit torrent downloads. You can open a different set of ports then go into azuerus and change the port that it listens on.
