Swad
If you use Gmail or Google Calendar, don't miss the new Google Notifier. The Google Notifier is an application that shows you alerts in your menu bar, so you can see when you have new Gmail messages or upcoming Google Calendar events without having to open a web browser. Don't you just love (beta) free stuff?
moksha
If only it worked with Gmail+Growl Utility.app… For some reason the icon on the new one is a few pixels lower on the menu bar than Gmail Notifier, which makes it look really out of place. Rammjet
For those who don't know, Gmail can be managed through Apple Mail and Google Calendar can be displayed in iCal. Gmail -> Settings -> Forwarding and POP -> Configuration instructions Google Calendar -> Settings -> Calendars -> Share this Calendar -> Calendar Details -> iCal -> then copy either the public or private iCal URL to iCal

Moksha, have not noticed that at all on my system, seems to fit in perfectly here.
