There are chances for a full porting on Chameleon 2 RC5 code...?

 

diff patch is not easily and directly applicable to recent RC5 source code.

Maldon posted latest trunk with Andy's patches.

 

I'll post modified source as soon I clean it a bit, I just did a quick and dirt copy/paste, indentation is all messed up. It probably has some errors, I'm not familiar with Chameleon sources.

Awesome work dude ;) .. Tested on a Dell Latitude D430 and D530 .. works like a charm with SL 10.6.7 and Lion DP1 (gonna give a test with DP2 later)

On the other hand [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] and XPC had no DF error, only Chameleon had. So this time it seems all bootloaders are affected.

 

 

Sorry, I don't know how to enable your graphics card.

FYI, I can't look at your attached image files neither.

 

i hv find a tricky way i hv installed chameleon on my disk and using boot usb to start with so my graphics working for now, until there is better official version.

thx for looking though.

 

ALSO on none of boot loaders lion is recognizing my keyboard or mouse. :P

I have problem with bootloader load all kext in S=>L=>E, i need helps. Thanks

 

This loader not use kernelcache in Lion, so the loading system is slower than with XPC :(

 

Just make a mkext

sudo kextcache -v 1 -a i386 -a x86_64 -m /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/Extensions.mkext /System/Library/Extensions

Absolutely, feel free to use it.

 

As I said before, all I did was copying Andy's patches to the latest Chameleon trunk, all credits go to the developers.

 

Great, lets hope they will add the changes to the main chameleon branch so we can use this in the future also :-)

I've done using a utility Cvad - did not help. The bootloader ignores the cache.

But in fact such "help" for bootloader - marasmus :D

2 question:

- why the theme doesn't work with this release version? i've set it in com.apple.boot.plist but it's not showed up

- nothing new about the sleep cmos reset problem that seems to happen with some motherboards? (include mine)
