username931
My realtec 8139 ethernet card on my laptop does not work. I have the ATI southbridge patch installed, and the wireless is working. IOPCIFAMILY.kext from 10.4.3 and I am runing Jas 10.4.6 with Semja Intel decrypts and SSE2 patch. I installed the GMA 900 patch (from searcing the forums) with no success either. Installation method: vmware to native This card should be supported natively, so I don't know what could be the issue here. In network status in the status drop menu it shows: network status, airport, built in ethernet and built in firewire. Only airport is displayed in network status. Maybe I need to refresh the built in ethernet settings after VMware? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/24697-realtec-8139/ Share on other sites
Rammjet
In the Network system preference, if you select the Show dropdown and select Network Port Configurations, is the ethernet there with a checkbox you can check to turn it on?
