macxpnux
It looks like fink (ppc) is not able to install on OSX 10.5 Leopard ? Any hints ? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/24685-fink-for-leopard/ Share on other sites
trash23
I had to download the latest fink source code and then run the bootstrap script to install it Of course, I installed xcode-3.0 before. -- trash Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/24685-fink-for-leopard/#findComment-585852 Share on other sites
Berzerker
I've compiled the latest version, but it doesn't compare to MacPorts. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/24685-fink-for-leopard/#findComment-585913 Share on other sites
surban
Hallo, I copied the Fink.pkg to the desktop. Then view Package.. Contents/Resources: remove InstallationCheck. That works on Kalyway 10.5.1/2 and Zephyroth 10.5.2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/24685-fink-for-leopard/#findComment-694357 Share on other sites
GISJason
Heh nice... Should have tried that.... Installin from source takes long.... I tried MacPorts but it didn't do jack {censored} or work properly.... So Fink FTW :-) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/24685-fink-for-leopard/#findComment-752274 Share on other sites
