Rammjet
Usually. But some dual core CPU's cause conflicts with OSX and one of the cores may have to be turned off. A quick search of the board reveals that some people are running your CPU with both operating but there is a phenomenon called "stuttering" that happens. This affects some multimedia applications. Using a boot option of "idlehalt=0" clears up the stuttering. This option can be added to the boot.plist after you get installed. The lines in boot.plist would look like this: <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>idlehalt=0</string> Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/24291-dual-core/#findComment-161409 Share on other sites
munky
generally speaking, Intel dual-cores work fine, AMD ones suffer some problems. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/24291-dual-core/#findComment-161450 Share on other sites
