Usually. But some dual core CPU's cause conflicts with OSX and one of the cores may have to be turned off.

 

A quick search of the board reveals that some people are running your CPU with both operating but there is a phenomenon called "stuttering" that happens. This affects some multimedia applications.

 

Using a boot option of "idlehalt=0" clears up the stuttering. This option can be added to the boot.plist after you get installed. The lines in boot.plist would look like this:

 

<key>Kernel Flags</key>

<string>idlehalt=0</string>
