Cheers! are you in 10.6.6 ? are you running 64-bit boot and 64-bit kernel or both? does full sleep work (hack shuts down) and wake (with power button) ? thanks as an aside i'm still using pleasesleep to make it sleep (back in 10.6.5 when it worked), normal SL sleep wouldn't trigger off otherwise, but that's not the point Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

No sleepEnabler.kext in S/L/E or Extra, in System Preferences>Energy saver everything set on NEVER or OFF. After restart no Sound, fixed by Kext Helper b7 and ALC 1200 (AppleHDA.kext). toolbox1234 Posted March 19, 2011 Share Posted March 19, 2011 Updated my system for 10.6.4 to 10.6.6 via software update. Rebooted many times before I found this thread.
