ExodusNirvana
Sorry if this has been answered before but some of these guides are kind of confusing and I'm a n00b at this... So I installed iDeneb 1.5.1 OSX86 v10.5.7 Success I'm able to boot back and forth between Windows 7 and OS X with Chamleon. It gives me a little option on startup and I just choose System Reserved and that starts Windows 7 whenever I need it. Anyways I have a 2 TB SATA as the master drive, using 2 partitions...with Windows 7 on one half and Mac OS X on the other. How do I update to Snow Leopard? One guide says something about making an image of Snow Leopard on a USB drive and installing it that way but does that mean I need to make a 3rd partition?? I'm running on a Asus P5Q Pro, Quad Core Socket 775 3.0 Ghz, ATI Radeon 4830 (Also successful might I add!), AHCI mode... Still trying to get sound to work since I don't have a sound card. When I was strictly Windows 7 the ATI Card was plugged via DVI/HDMI to my TV....I'm sure there's a kext somewhere around here for that though. ExodusNirvana
Any help? Just trying to figure out if I update as stated in: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=213336 Or can I just install via an image of Snow Leopard Retail on a DVD? The threads are kind of outdated and some of them are confusing....
