Monocog Posted December 3, 2010 Share Posted December 3, 2010 So as the title says, i have my desktop rig, a dell xps 400, intel pentium D 3.0ghz, 2gb ram, 160gb sata hard drive, and an ati x600 video card, within days to be a msi ati radeon hd 4670. i just ordered an i7 y560 lenovo laptop, and want to turn my desktop into an osx86. i tried ideneb 10.5.7 and got the installer to boot, and to install on a 40gb pata drive, but then it would hang and never boot from the grey mac screen when i tried to boot the hard drive. i havent formated my sata drive to try it on that, but i will as soon as my laptop comes. I'm new to the osx86 scene, and would like some advice to get this working. i will provide any other needed specs if anybody can help me.
