nonconformistconformist
HELP!!!! Ill try to make this simple. My system : AMD 9550 BE Quad Core Gigabyte GA-790X-UD4P 790X Northbridge / 750 Southbridge 8 Gigs DDR2 Corsair 800 9800GTX Nvidia graphics Okay....Here we go.... 1. NO iDenebs install. Not a single one. I either get the Apple Logo with the cross thru it, or it just reboots my machine. 2. No iATKOS will install. Reboots my machine or cross thru apple logo .... 3. BootCD from .06 to 1.5 and RETAIL Snow Leopard 10.6.3 .... gives me headaches as well. I get close...most the time I get still waiting for rot device or some kind of cpu KP??? 4. VMWARE....If I start with the BootCD ISO, and disconnect that iso , to insert the retail osx iso..it wont work either.... 5. How do I setup a VMware machine to read off the bootcd, THEN Snow Leopard? Not first going to snow leopard no matter what. My system is set to AHCI. My dvd is Sata. Markrtoon
You have a really weird username, anyway, that will always most likely happen in vmware, how much ram are you allocating? And which iAtkos did you try? Try the Hazard distro. I dont see how to get to a terminal with the boot cd's. So, Try the iATKOS and go from there? Ill do that, at least its a start. Thanks for the idea and Ill report back. Markrtoon
On bootup, when it says "Press F8" that's when you'll enter these commands.
