DylanDogg
I'm just getting into installing OSx86 on my PC machine and from reading previus posts I've realized that there is some issue with installing it on a SATA hard drive with an Nforce4 motherboard. I haven't been able to determine from previous posts if this issue has been resolved or not. I have the following options: 1)Find an Nforce4 compatible version (if there is one) and try and install it on my SATA drive (I've found the following version of of OSX: GoatsecxDVD 10.4.6, MACOSX_10.4.6DVDPATCHED_Myz.iso, and Jas 10.4.6) 2)Buy a cheap IDE drive (they're like $90 for 250gb now) and install any of the mentioned versions on that drive. Can anybody with more experience show me the way?
