Hi guys

I´m very happy with my new beast. (Core 2 duo motherboard size for OSX86)

Ten years using bugdows but the experience of intel based mac is really incredible

I excited with the functionality of OSX.

Totally recomended...

Cheers

Custom Machine previously used for XP Media Center. Specs:

-3GHz Pentium 4 Processor

-ECS P4M800-M Motherboard

-ATI x1300 256Mb AGP Graphics Card

-512MB DDR RAM (icky, way too low)

-Spare 40GB 7200rpm HDD

-JaS 10.4.8 installed (edited verison to 10.4.10 to install iLife and iwork 08)

I couldn't get Uphuck 1.4i to boot because of "Still waiting on root device" no matter what combo I put the drives in (all IDE.)

"look at the stars... look how they shine for you.... "

hey dudes! got LEOPARD by ToH installed on my ACER 5610Z notebook computer!

Runs great.... The only problem i have is that its showing as a CORE SOLO and I think its running on

one processor and have the L2 Cache available... Maybe upgrading to a CORE 2 DUO will help..???

Any who... here is the screen shot!

Yay. I just got 10.4.11 running a few days ago. I'm new to the site as an active user (poster) but the wiki and forum has helped me out a lot since I started on the infamous deadmoo VMWare image. We've all come a long way since the first Intel screenshots starting drumming up our inner Mac hacker.

Here you go:

AMD Sempron 3000+ (32 bit)

Gigabyte Gigabyte GA-M55SLI-S4 (nForce 4 SATA Working!)

1024mb DDR2

IDE Hard Drive Booting Machine

SATA DVDRW

IDE DVDROM

3 x SATA Hard Drives

GeForce 7300GT (Works AWESOME!)

OMG, those are the biggest desktop icons i've seen... How big are those? Must be at least 128x128... I even find the standard icons to be too large :/ and that that my monitor has a 0.255mm pixel pitch [i.e. it has relatively small pixels].

Liking the `sh*t' and `downloads' icons tho

I just redid mine. 10.4.11 (I like Tiger better) started on Thursday with Uphuck's 1.4i. 10.4.11 doesn't seem to have any problems(keeping my fingers crossed). This is the best osx86 install I've ever done, and I'm really happy with it. Any problems I've had I knew would be there(Like kernel panic on geforce.kext before adding my device Id to info.plist)

Oh, It's reading my Memory type incorrectly. It's DDR2-800.

I finally got Tiger running on my cursed Dell Intel CoreDuo. Wish I could get Leopard to run, but maybe I will get it to run one of these days. But until then...here is my screenie. Unfortunately, stupid Radeon Mobility X1400 only allows me to get to 1400x1050, but other than that, it isn't too bad. Anyway, here it is, along with my profiler. :-)
