stellarola
Ok, so here is my About screen with the fix for CS3. It's showing my Core2Duo 2.4 as a 4ghz...not a bad thing. Getting great benchmarks with my setup... It really is equivalent to the new 2007 iMAC 2.4ghz in terms of speed. Doesn't look quite as sleek though. Wrenbird
I'm getting there Uphuck 10.4.9 1.3 Running on a Core 2 Duo E6550 (OC'd to 2.8GHz) 1 GB DDR2 800 RAM Evga 680i SLi motherboad PNY Geforce 7900gs 17" Acer Flat Panel Monitor Unfortunatly I'm running OSx86 on an old 30gb PATA HDD until I get a new one Everything works, some with patching, some without, except my abit airpace wi-fi adapter I'm getting a REALLY annoying 30 second boot delay from an error stating: "couldn't set up diskarb sessions" does anybody know how to fix it? Other than that it runs great. BTW, the reason I'm running PATA, not SATA, is because I don't feel like figuring out how to patch the install DVD with the NForce SATA kext, and I tried making a windows partition and Mac partition on my 250GB SATA drive, but it kept giving me errors not allowing me to make an HFS+ partition. So I'll just buy a new PATA drive.

FallenWings
I've been waiting for this day for a long, long time. Finally, I have a working OSx86 machine! Intel Badaxe 2 Mobo (D975XBX2) 2.4 GHz Core 2 Quad Q6600 4 GB DDR2 RAM Sapphire X1950XT About 580 GB storage on various drives. All inside the Antec Gamer 900 case. Used a 10.4.6 JaS DVD I had lying around, and then hit it with the 10.4.10 updater. Got full resolution support on my X1950XT using the Jcool method. No QE / CI it would seem. Leads to an unfortunately low Xbench of 118. Using an M-Audio Sonica USB for sound. Works well with the PPC driver from their site. This thing does pretty well ripping DVDs in Handbrake. 80 fps average ripping Princess Mononoke. I am so grateful for this site and to this community. I am truly standing on the shoulders of giants.
