I've used several different AppleIntelGMA950.kext and AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext files throughout the day today, and I've found a solution to at least get native resolution to work. I just need to get QE/CI enabled! I'm also using "ElliottAppleIntelGMA950LegacyEnabler.kext". I get a garbled up screen when using AppleIntelGMA950GA.plugin, AppleIntelGMA950GLDriver.bundle, and AppleIntelGMA950VADriver.bundle. Removing those, and just leaving AppleIntelGMA950.kext, AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext, and ElliottAppleIntelGMA950LegacyEnabler.kext will get me native resolution and the proper GPU name, but no QE/CI. Then using the chameleon mod from Meklort, seems to enhance the graphics performance visually, less artifacts. Cosmetic drawback is that customized chameleon screen on boot show half the graphic, but maybe that can be fixed by different resized files. I can live with that. Does not affect selecting drive icons. Ugh... I'm so close! It's nice to have 10.5.8 running on this old laptop perfectly: I'll attempt to get Snow Leopard on here... Eventually.
