MaLd0n was kind enough to supply a DSDT.aml which I installed in place of the one installed by Stells' v3 package. Being completely honest I have no idea if it changed anything for the better, how could I confirm this?

My only issue is Bluetooth dongles and the correct operation of my Magic Mouse / Trackpad when waking from sleep. My first choice of Dongle is the Belkin one listed on the Apple site as it works in the BIOS and with Chameleon but there is a problem where you loose the special functions when woken from sleep until the Dongle is pulled out and put back in or a reboot or going to sleep and waking again.

Other Dongles don't do this but they don't work in the BIOS etc, would the DSDT be something that can help with any of this or am I totally on the wrong track here?

make sure usb wakeup is enabled in bios also. that keeps power on to usb devices during sleep.

Maldon. something is definitely wrong with older atheros AR5BXB6 in 10.6.5 /.6 my leo connects fine reboot after reboot. snow is not.

im going back to 10.6.4 to test more.

( it could also be this fujitsu older card doesnt perform exact to the ibm its emulating? but the newer AR928x works better.)

im thinking IONet and IO802 from 10.6.4 in 10.6.6 ?

im allready on 10.6.0 again. last night decided to test install with the dsdt fresh A09 from linux.. patched by iasl in linux.

then ran autopatcher on both dsl and on aml after patch. to test each.

by the way no more gray screen on install with Nvidia.. and get to keep all functions.

in the (AGP) the 2 boxes of numbers in _DOD .. the last 3 digits of each line are in wrong spot. so it chooses wrong screen and i get gray. with the M1530 patch.

change this

            Device (AGP)
           {
               Name (_ADR, 0x00010000)
               Device (VID)
               {
                   Name (_ADR, Zero)
                   Method (_DOS, 1, NotSerialized)
                   {
                       Store (Arg0, MIS4)
                       SMI (0x9E, MIS4)
                   }

                   Method (_DOD, 0, NotSerialized)
                   {
                       Store (SMI (0x6D, Zero), Local0)
                       If (LEqual (Local0, One))
                       {
                           Return (Package (0x04)
                           {
                               0x00010100, //move to bottom 10100 at bottom line
                               0x00010200, //move to bottom
                               0x00010110,
                               0x00010210
                           })
                       }
                       Else
                       {
                           Return (Package (0x04)
                           {
                               0x00010100, //move to bottom
                               0x00010200, //move to bottom
                               0x00010118,
                               0x00010120
                           })
                       }
                   }

now the main priority is the LCD or LCD with second device. (no more gray screen in dell nvidia during install 10.6.0 with graphics enabler yes still does it.)

Hello Maldon,

Thank you for these wonderful DSDT tools for noobs like me who have very little skills at dsdt editing!

Here is my sendme file for my Compaq C500 laptop. As you'll see I don't have too many kexts in extra

and getting real close to 100% working vanilla install... Only thing not working correctly are auto sleep which I

believe may be an issue related to speedstepping, and possibly improper device id on LPC in dsdt?

I could be way off, but this is what lots of reading has led me to, and correcting DSDT for intelPM945 express is my last resort!

Thank you for your time in advance.
