Chrisfromiowa
the problem may be with the video cardI have no idea Hello MaDlOn, Can a dsdt cause a 0xdeadbeef memory error? I had my ga-h55m-ud2h GT430 that you created the dsdt for running for a few days and just restated getting the dead beef thing. I've done some searches and it seems like its related to graphics enabler = yes but I cant figure out why it just started. I've been reading about DSDT's, why are all of the resources in Portugese? I mean I know there are hackintoshes every where but man it seems like Brazil has taken over the DSDT's. Well thanks CFI

Chrisfromiowa
I have no idea about it post a photo If you've never heard of it its probably not dsdt. I'm at work so I cant send a picture but happens when chameleon is going through the first 4 boot files before you can enter in any boot tags, I think I will try boot with another disk and try a different version of chameleon. I read to try graphicsenabler=no but I wont get video with the nvidia gt430. Thanks for all the help. CFI
HugeTorque
My machine works, except the USB - only several work, usb 3.0 ports are a no go right now. It sleeps, but wakes up to the bios and computer restarts to OSx. Perhaps a bit of DSDT tweaking can improve functionality. I tried some DSDT fixes with DSDT fixer. Attached is the file you requested we send in your initial post. LinoLinux
Hi Madl0n, I tried to install Lion with your guide. I'm using an HP Dv6 (i7 core sandy bridge) laptop, so I had some issues with the boot loader (I finally succeeded using last Chameleon version from trunk and Taptun's Lion Kernel). Now I'm stuck with the DSDT Auto-Patcher, 'cause it gives me some parsing errors (I tried to use the HP - DV6 i Core Pack). I installed NullCPUPowerManagement, AHCI PortInjector and IOAHCIBlockStorage kexts using KextUtility, 'cause during my first test I had a Kernel Panic related to IntelCPUPowerManagement. I still have IDT Audio and USB3 not working. I have also some issues with GPU (I have switchable graphics and OSX works with Intel HD3000, while ATI HD 6490M doesn't work yet) and with internal Trackpad-Keyboard. Can I fix some of this problems with a DSDT? Here is my send_me file. Thanks for your help! send_me.zip
