Here it is the KEXTSTAT,

it's possible add the Brightness/Backlight slide? (i have Apple Keyboard) :wacko:

 

Ps: i have a problem my Geforce has 2 DVI ports one working and one broken. The broken one makes appear an ulterior Monitor :\ Im working with 1 Physic Monitor and for Mac (and windows) with 2 Monitor.

Maybe this is why i can't change my screen frequency (only 60 hz).

Is possible fix that from dsdt?

I've tried and the problem persists with the front USBs. USB flash drives and USB hard drives are disconnected unexpectedly.

What difference has this initial DSDT with mine? Keep the new or old?

use old DSDT

this problem must be "physical"

no?

 

Could you do my dsdt for Acer Aspire T630 P4 3ghz please.

Sleep and Weakup is work but

1. Sometime my lion can't shutdown (Cpu Fan ,Vga Fan and Supply Working)

2. After Shutdown My bios is reset

Sleep and Weakup is work but

1. Sometime my lion can't shutdown (Cpu Fan ,Vga Fan and Supply Working)

2. After Shutdown My bios is reset

I think there is any hardware problem, when I installed Lion from a flash USB drive and I used the front USBs without problems. The USB bluetooth is running properly on the front USB.

 

It's may be a conflict of drivers or bios settings wrong, I think.

I removed Hybrid shutdown(apply simple) and apply simple USB

try it

that fix used in that topic never worked for me on Intel mobos

I do not know what is the magic

I can't find my vaio (VPCEB3C5E) in the patcher and I was hoping you might be able to help me. I'm on Lion GM (Chameleon-2.RCr1096 w/the patched boot file for 5650m from kexts.com). I've attached my files for you.

- Graphics acceleration (Got this working on Snowy but can't in Lion)

- Ethernet (Couldn't get this working on Snowy - but this isn't important to me)

- SD (Couldn't get this working in Snowy either but not that important)

- About This Mac (Couldn't get this woking in Snowy either, I thought it was a gfx issue)

- Screen brightness - would love this to work with my fn keys!

- Sleep (not bothered about this)

Nop, I only use AHCIPortInjector, FakeSMC, IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector from Extra_Mac Pro 3.1 and IONetworkingFamily (Network patcher). I have change AppleHDA in S/L/E to make sound work.

I have no idea

ICH8 is very compatible

remove Disabler.kext

I have done as you suggested except use the version of Chameleon you posted alongside NativePM & Restart Fix on the first page. Was there a reason why I should use that version or was you not saying to do so?

 

Installed AppleHDADisabler as got kp on boot - so thank you for that too.

 

Was there anything in my "whats not working" list that I can fix with dsdt?

Thanks MaLd0n. I am already looking into gfx but not having much luck, will plod on though.

 

With About This Mac, as soon as its clicked I get logged out & have to log back in. It never worked in Snowy either. I did hope that this was a gfx issue but the problem persisted even after I had QE/CI in Snowy.

 

Do you have any suggestions or should I just search the forum some more?

Common problem in the Vaio, it must be something missing in the SMBIOS. Use this kext in S/L/E

This might be a silly Q, but do I need to remove smbios.plist from extra?

 

Speaking of which, which smbois.plist do you think I should use? I was thinking MBP 8,1.

Without smbois.plist... I'm getting iMac 8,1 come up in System Info.

Working great working on audio now, thanks for the help, just a thought in verbose mode it stops at (PCI configuration) but it still boots fine.

 

I think with audio working I am happy. Oh yeah before I forget sleep, shutdown, reboot, and wake all work I have only three things in /E/E ps2 stuff and fakesmc :)

 

 

Please add it to the autopatcher ASUS P5QL vm epu

 

 

now off to get audio working seems no one created a alc887 config for DSDT :P

Sorry to bother you but I did some editing of the DSDT you compiled for me. I have my id 887 showing up correctly

 

but still no audio with applehda 10.6.2 legacyhda in E/E

 

PLease take a look for errors in my DSDT
