Hi Mald0n,

 

I have a Sony Vaio VPCEB1S0E :

 

Wireless : 100% - Atheros 9285

USB : 100% - IOUSBFamily.kext (USBBusFix=Yes)

Graphics : 99% - HD5470 - (QE/CI - 1366x768 resolution - Internal LCD support with EDID - just no translucent bar)

Ethernet : 0% 88E8059 Yukon (No kexts)

Sound : 100% - alc272

Trackpad : 100%

 

I don't have speedstep for my processor i3 - 330M, so my fan is too speed.

And my card reader is not working.

 

Can I get the DSDT for my computer?

REMOVE EvOreboot and NullCPUPowerManagement

 

add in boot.plist

I really appreciate any help on this.

 

I am trying create a DSDT for Dell XPS 17 L702X sandy bridge model.

 

I have fully functioning graphics and SL 10.6.8 install.

 

But the following do not work.

 

Audio, Sleep, Fn Keys (brightness control) etc.

 

Can you please help patch this ?

 

Audio Codec in this laptop is ALC 665

 

 

Wireless : 100% - Dell DW1510

USB3 100% (PXCHD.Kext)

 

USB2 0%

Intel HD Graphics : 90% - HD3000 - (QE/CI - 1920x1080 resolution - Internal LCD)

 

Nvidia Graphics : 0% - GT 525M (Nvidia Optimus graphics)

Sound : 0% - alc665

Trackpad : 100%

You are a genius. The audio works now but there is some distortion to the audio. Any ideas?.

 

I installed VoodooHDA 0.2.1 and AppleHDADisabler.kext.

 

Copied the DSDT.aml to the root. I also modified com.apple.Boot.plist to enable DSDT key.

hi again man..

so i find my way to enable ahci on my board (p5k-se) and flushed the bios.

Now i'm 99% vanilla (only lan, and ide burner :):):))

my question is, do i need to replace my dsdt because of the new bios?

do you think something need to be change on the patching? or i can just extract and apply the same patches?

The last issue is the sleep mode, I can't exit from it...

Extract new DSDT(original)

and apply again

USB is "Built in"?

should i extract it when set to ahci or either ide will work? (reason i'm asking is cause i can't load my current xp with ahci enabled and some tricks to get it enable didn't work, so i need new install of any windows to get ahci enabled

one more thing is when extracted with ide enabled it seems the filesize of original dsdt didn't change a byte)

Here's you go.

 

A few notes -- I'm not sure if/how this impacts patching the DSDT:

  • ASUS P8Z68-V PRO Motherboard
  • I'm using the iGPU (HD 3000) on my 2600K CPU for video.
  • I also have 2x GTX 580s which are not currently connected but would ultimately like to have them connected even if they sit idle just so I don't have to remove them when I dual boot OS X and Windows 7.
  • For Windows 7 I use an Intel RAID setup but this is set to AHCI, let me know if that causes any conflicts and I can try to boot with it set to RAID.
  • I plan to get my Lion Dev Preview working to fiddle with kexts with the 580s. I'm not sure if the DSDT patch differs for SL or Lion but, if so, both versions would be great.

I have the new Alienware m14x 2630qm Sandybridge/Chipset HM67

 

I have half functioning graphics (Optimus GFX so I have Intel HD 3000 working but no gt555m) and SL 10.6.8 install.

 

But the following do not work.

 

Audio, Sleep, Fn Keys (brightness control) etc. and USB (System Profiler won't show my USB2.0 and with the NEC USB3.0 kext installed, my 3.0 ports freeze my computer)

Also, don't know if this has anything to do with a DSDT, but in my System Profiler my Power On Self-Test says FAILED and Failure type says Memory, but under Memory in the SP, it reads me Memory correctly, any idea?

AWESOME! Have not installed Audio Kexts yet, but USB 2.0 is working perfectly now. But my USB 3.0 ports still freeze up my system if I put anything in them. Other than that everything else works...also thank you for getting my Sata corrected and my webcam!!! BIG PLUS! Thank you so much man!

 

Oh, also, is there a way to run PS/2 (trackpad and keyboard) without having to use arch=i386 flag? (for example just in 64bit)

Please, Need Help MaLd0n,

I just installed 4 GB more memory and have issue with graphic performance! I use i386 and graphic enabler=yes SL 10.6.7.

But my video performace is bad now! Can you help me about! I tryed with nvenbler64.kext the same thing... Slow graphic and freeze !

I tryed also without i386... Nothing ! SL 10.6.3 works great... It must be conflict Memory-Graphic! Please help me ! My video card is Nvidia 220 GT! I have max resolution and QE/CI but very slow graphic response and random freeze!

Memory now 8GB

i5 2500

Nvidia 9800GT

4GB Kit DDR3

 

I have instal OSX retail with Update 10.6.7 + sandybrige kernel but i must use NullCpupowermanagement to Boot

because of that turbo boost on proceessor not work (in windows work) only 3,3ghz no turbo boost.

 

i tried make dsdt with dsdtse still not working.
