Hello, Mal.

 

Sorry for the inconvenience, but I wanted to say a few things.

 

First, let's start with my hardware configuration

 

GA-P67A-UD4-B3 (F4, Bios taken from a French website, stationdriver).

Intel Core i7-2600K

8GB Corsair DDR3 1600MHz

Gainward 9800GT

 

(Important! A quick little question, before continue: recommend you buying the GA-Z68X-UD4-B3, or stay with my GA-P67A-UD4-B3?)

 

Now, however, start with my problems:

 

I installed the Snow Leopard, by inserting the combo update 10.6.7, patching the [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] and the DSDT with your program. With NULLCPUPOwerManagment, I get a score that is around 13K, if, instead, remain with the IntelCPUPowerManagment and IntelCPUClient, I get a score that is around 6K.

 

I also tried to enter the IntelCPUPowerManagment and Early IntelCPUClient present in the update of the new iMac Sandy Bridge, changing the SMBIOS. plist, changing family and the product and iMac12,2.

 

No Kernel Panic, but the score remains unchanged. The new iMac12,2, which mounts i7-2600, my processor with the only difference that it can not be overclocked, it gets a score of about 11156.

 

 

What's wrong?

Hey MaLd0n!

Last time when I said I had a GA-P35-DS3 Mobo, I was mistaken! It's actually a GA-965P-DS3! Good thing I didn't update to the P35 bios!

Anyway, I updated the correct bios to F14, but still having problems with dsdt. Here's the "send_me" zip :(

I have the GA-965P-S3 v3.3 board and have finally got SL working fully on this using DSDT and just a few kexts. I believe the boards are very similar, I don't know exactly what is different between the two. If you want to try out my DSDT with a few other files let me know.

I do not know the line z68

I need a DSDT and ioreg to add them in the Auto-Patcher :(

Mmm my motherboard is abit brand (kn9-sli) and its not on the patcher, and i really have no clue how to patch myself. Your topic states send you the zip and you could help me ?, here is my send_me.zip hope you can help :)

 

Hoping to fix my audio problem, and seem to crash alot in firefox after its been open for a bit.

noticed that i had force-64 and removed it hope it helps.

mediafire removes the underline and replaces it with a space, not sure if that matters

 

Please help me, really want to give snow a try, many of my programs have mirgrated over from windows (linux runs only 1 XD)

Planing to switch to intel around next year to 2013.

do i really need all of the following

After all this you should have:

- codec_dump.txt in hex

- codec_dump_dec.txt in decimal

- codec_dump.txt.svg in hex

- codec_dump_dec.txt.svg in decimal

- Vista converted PinConfigOverRides

- VoodooHDA codec dump

Save them all in a safe place.

 

I got the linux dump and created the first 4 files, but i don't have vista or windows7 installed, if so do i have to install voodoohda to make the dump command line work ?

i also got my linux dump on my sound post/topic

gonna try that topic again

 

just heard that i may have to add the dsdt to com.apple.Boot.plist

is this true ?

told to add <string>DSDT=hd(0,1)/DSDT.aml</string>

tried made no differents :)

ok its the in extra folder :)

so let me get this right i need to download legacyHda and patch AppleHda(stuck), its so confusing lol

is it possable to download a patched applehda.kext ?

mm just checked the web and i don't think there is a legacyHda for alc833, just 888,885 and 889 :(

trying that guide on patching applehda and my verb.text reads

ERROR: This doesn't appear to be an alsa codec dump file

sorry for my newbie-ness, found leopard much easier to get mic working, sadly it dont work for me in snow :)

I'm so sorry, You say the original DSDT, you mean the file dsdt.aml I extract from Everest (Windows) or the file I got from KUP (threat : Install SL on Asus P6X58D Premium) I download file Asus_P6X58D_Premium_Extra.zip from him.

Is it right?

 

Sorry, I just use Mac on PC only 3 days ago. ;)
