omniatlas
Compiled a DSDT with the autopatcher (G31M-S2L) fine, everything functions okay; but without nullcpumanagement.kext, performance really takes a hit with Valve games -- Tested with Team Fortress 2, and its jerky, stutters, and unplayable. Same issue with flash videos on the web with some stutters. Installed back nullcpumanagement and its okay again. What is it in this magic nullcpumanagement that makes my computer perform better that my compiled DSDT file can't? Thanks.
trivias
@MaLd0n Thanks for this app. It's really great. I have a question, too. My board is a Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L and i use your tool with myHack Installer. But sleep didn't work and the settings in energysaver and bios (S3) are correct. Do I need Chameleon RC5 for proper function? Second question is about the processor. I have a Pentium Dual-Core E6300. Will Native Power Management work with this processor under Chameleon RC5? many thanks

efimac
Does the Asus P6T patcher works with Asus P6T Deluxe V1/V2? Or anybody with Asus P6T deluxe tried it? bulier
I'm not sure if the GIGA EX58-Extreme is supported by this tool. When I used the patched DSDT file (for GA EX58 GA EX58A) to boot 10.6.4, it come to a blue screen when it suppose to be the desktop. I was running perfect using my previous patch with the bootthink. (I'm not using the Chameleon but bootthink which is a windows version) Is anyone who is using the bootthink and get the same problem? How to fix it? My unpatched DSDT file: dsdt.zip The previous worked version: dsdt_previous_works_version.zip GA EX58-Extreme F12 BIOS File: EX58EX.zip Any suggestions or helps are very appreciated. joshs85
I have attached my original dsdt and a copy of my current mostly working extras folder. Below is a list of the hardware i have in this machine. The only think that doesn't work is bridged mode in vmware or virtual box with this nic. not sure if its something you can fix but it would be great if i could get that working as well as get this motherboard working with your auto patcher. Chrisfromiowa
Hello All, I have the intel dg41rq mb and am wondering if any of the boards listed will work for my machine. I have a problem that I have to boot twice to get full USB use (10.6.4 (Tried 5 gave up for now)). I will boot and the high speed usb ports are dead, I just hit reboot and there they are. I think it might be a bios issue and fixing the dsdt will help, I might be wrong. Any ideas???

omniatlas
btw, I installed back sleepenabler because I wouldn't be able to wake from sleep without it. However now, with the new sleepenabler (64x) the machine also doesn't want to sleep by itself; I have to force it to sleep.

trivias
@MaLd0n Everything works now and I'm very happy. I did a fresh install with Chameleon RC5 and sleep works now. Furthermore there are no problems with Native Power Management under my G31M-ES2L. MaLd0n, have you got PayPal? In the next few days I would make a small donation to your account for this excellent work.
efimac
Send me your original DSDTRun on terminal perl -e 'open(CMD, "ioreg -lw0 \| grep DSDT|") or die; while(<CMD>) { chomp; if($_ =~ /\"DSDT\.?\d?\"=<([^>]*)>/) { $buff = $1; open(PIP, "|xxd -r -p > ~/Desktop/dsdt.aml") or die; print PIP "$1"; } }' kextstat kextstat ioreg output ioreg -fl USE Chameleon RC5 http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...st&id=80533 much more than a bootloader Send me a kextstat kextstat ioreg output ioreg -fl It will take a while before I can send my Asus p6T deluxe v1/v2 dsdt as I do not have access to my computer. Anyway, I try if I can guide my buddy to take it for me. Thanks and I really appreciate your efforts. Efy

I'm not sure about the dsdt patcher since it doesnt list the dg41rq, I know it is similar to the dg31 but not the same, I used the new chameleon update and the two new extra/IOSUB kext's and was able to update to 10.6.5 and seem to have full usb support every time I boot. The first time I rebooted it couldn't find the mach_kernel so I had to use my boot disk. I deselected mach_kernel in the chameleon preferences and everything seems great. I'm not sure what part of this worked but it works. In the above code, where do I patch this? I've had a hard time patching my dsdt in the past.
