MaLd0n
So you mean in my Extensions folder should only exist AppleHDADisabler , and the AppleHDA deleted to get the audio working ?'Cuz I already tried deleting AppleHDA and it still didnt work . I'm looking for AppleHDADisabler now . nops try another version VoodooHda use VoodooHda + AppleHdaDisabler OK , i'm real lost . I installed the AppleHdaDisabler kext on ur 1st page . The only existent audio kext in my extension is AppleHdaDisabler.kext but the sound is still not working . No input devices found in audio ( system preferences ) ....I could get the sound working by installing VoodooHDA.kext but the sound is so bad that I can always hear like , helicopter sound on both of the headphones . dsdt1010
Hi MaLd0n, First of all, thank you so much for your hard work! I'm really impressed with what you have done to others! Would you please help me with my DSDT which is attached below? My laptop is: - HP ProBook 4730s (LV745PA) - Intel i5-2410M - Mobile Intel HM65 Express chipset - 8GB 1333MHz DDR SDRAM (I upgraded it from 4GB) - Intel HD3000 (0x01168086), PCI0, device 2 - AMD Radeon HD 6490M/1GB GDDR5 switchable (0x67601002), PCI1, device 0 - Ralink RT3592 BC8 WiFi + bluetooth 3.0+HS combo - Realtek RTL8168B gigabit ethernet (0x816810EC) (works with Lnx2Mac Realtek kext) - Synaptic touchpad (works with kext) Currently running Lion with the Intel HD3000 in full resolution (1600x900) but without QE/CI. I had to use the 10.6.8 version AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext and this string attached in com.apple.Boot.plist: <key>device-properties</key> <string>600000000100000001000000540000000100000002010c00d041030a000000000101060000027fff04001e0000004100410050004c002c006f0073002d0069006e0066006f0000001800000030490111111108000001f01f0100000010070000</string> otherwise no screen shows up with the native kext from Lion. White screen shows up on HDMI signal. So, connector issue? I believe an edited DSDT will be the solution to this laptop. I've found that many people have interest in this laptop and its related brother, the 4530s, because of their close resemblance with the MacBook Pro specs. Therefore, your help will definitely benefit many prospective buyers. Other problems need to be fixed include: - speedstep (I hear constant fan noise, so presumimg that speedstep is not active) - proper sleep and shutdown (the CMOS reset in my Lion desktop is driving me crazy and I avoid this to happen on my laptop by not allowing the laptop to sleep/screensave, but obviously this is not a good solution) - brightness control - volume control (I use VoodooHDA 2.7.2 at the moment which lacks volume control) - WiFi (it uses Ralink RT3592 BC8, the WiFi part does not work but the bluetooth works OOB) - QE/CI - non-functional HD 6490M (I would like to be able to switch at will) - function keys - card reader (JMicron, no big deal if it can't be fixed as I can use a USB card reader) - keyboard (key jumping - I don't know how to describe it correctly, the cursor will jump from one place to another randomly at times. This happens also when the HP laptop is loaded with Linux too. It also happens in my another old HP laptop when that was loaded with non-Microsoft Windows operating system. I really have no clue about its cause, but obviously it's OS-related.) Alright, I think this is a pretty long list and sorry for that. Take some good sleep and rest for yourself. Maybe you can consider doing a writeup to teach others how to do the work themselves. I am willing to learn. Just an update to the jumpy keyboard issue I raised in my last post: I've just searched the web for solution and corrected the problem by modifying the Trackpad parameters. So, this is a sensitivity issue rather than OS-related. But strangely, the jumpy keys did not happen in Windows. Anyway, the problem is solved now and I am so happy!! send_me.zip

Anyone else experience this ? Otherwise great work

Does the DSDT-Auto-Patcher do "Apply_DSM into device" ? I just used the DSDT I got from you The codec is Sandybridge ALC889, but have the same problem as Jedi_Shaman. http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-p...spx?pid=3892#sp If I use VoodooHDA instead, do I need to rename appleHDAdisabler.kext to AppleHDA.kext, when I put it in S/L/E ?
