Burn

I just did a combo update to 10.6.8 and the Hacintosh is dead at the moment...

booting stops at "PCI Configuration Begin"

See a lot of people have the same problem.. let me solve it and then I will resend you the DSDT..

thanks again

try booting with the boot flags -v -f arch=i386 PCIRootUID=1 see if it gets past that

1- the charger is connected?

try without it

2- do you add in boot.list?

<key>GeneratePStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GenerateCStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>

send me a new kextstat

run on terminal

Hi mald0n, thank you for replying. If i connect or disconnect the power supply it is the same: 3300 geekbench . If i reboot it gives me 5200 . If i power it off, first time i boot 3300 geekbench, otherwise rebooting 5200. Do you know why? I have such strings (GenerateCStates and GeneratePStates). Adding dropSSDT=Yes or No it has the same behaviour. Most important problem is that it doesn't awake from sleep. The rest works fine.

Here is kextstat. I made two of them : with 3300 and 5200 geekbench(before and after reboot).

kextstat_sten0_3300geek.txt

kextstat_sten0_5200geek.txt

Thank you

I have no idea

Update your Chameleon, etc

I have latest chimera from tonymac.

I'm using iatkos 10.6.3 updated to 10.6.8 through software updates and almost everything is okay (sleep isn't).

I installed retail once but i had to boot with sata mode (ahci works with iatkos i don't understand why it doesn't with retail dvd) and once installed when it loaded the screen was grey and nothing happened that's why i use iatkos .

So close only 2 errors now one i think is the actual error and the second is just a kext being rejected is there any way to define the local as 0x0 in the dsdt?

for sleep problem

Hello . I tried to remove power supply and to put it again: same problem . It sleeps fine but it doesnt' awake (black screen). I had to modify rtc section of your dsdt because it did reset cmos anyway , but it's the same: no awake from sleep.

Any suggestion for sleep? Any other test?

Thank you

Sn0

that post is in a nother lauange i did a google translate but it reads like this

Who used the AppleHDA kext legacy for the Snow Leopard will realize that this method does not work at the Lion, because the structure was modified kext. AppleHDA See how to edit the original Lion based on legacy kext you used in Snow Leopard: Open Info.plist legacy for the Snow Leopard; Copy keys CommonPeripheralDSP and PathMaps for the file AppleHDA.kext / Contents / Resources / Platforms.xml (replace the original content) Copy the keys LayoutID and PathMapRef (from inside the key layouts ) for the file AppleHDA.kext / Contents / Resources / layout ? . xml (replace the original content or create a new file if it does not exist ? = LayoutID) Copy the key HDA Resource Hardware Setup for the file AppleHDA.kext / Contents / PlugIns / AppleHDAHardwareConfigDriver.kext / Contents / Info.plist (replace the key with the same name.) Editing Info.plist viewtopic.php? f = 3 & t = 69 If not ALC889A codec AD1988B or you also need to edit the file AppleHDA.kext / Contents / MacOS / AppleHDA (binary). For Realtek codecs (ALC) replace the 4 occurrences of EC 10 85 08 (0885 bytes reversed the codec vendor and 10EC) for its codec, for example, 8 8 08 EC 10 . Use a hex editor ( 0xED ) or the command

not realy shure what he is getting at
