GPU?

I check your dsdt. It is ok. Thanks :guitar:

The problem is with my GPU (EVGA 9800 GTX+) when i try to enable graphic with Chameleon and PciRoot=1 On 10.6.3-10.6.7 everything was ok but on 10.6.8 and 10.7 GM i have this stange effect :/ I tried also to enable my GTX with efi string but no luck with it :/ Any idea how to fix problem with GPU?

in Device (PCI) the _UID says Zero or One ? change to Zero

Yes

if you use VoodooHda, use AppleHdaDisabler in S/L/E

see the first post

ok if you could please tell me the right direction I would be grateful to you:

i've installed 10.6.3 with mammoth method and updated to 10.6.8,

changing a series of kexts to make it boot again

i'm using legacy_kernel (10.4.0) because if i change kernel using someone from taptun's or newest from nawcom i can't boot because it freeze on "DSMOS has arrived"

at this time i MUST boot with maxmem=4096 and i'm using arch=x86_64 flag but the system go on 32 bit

with your dsdt something is changed in system profiler under monitor but i can't see my video card.

i'm not asking a solution but only the right direction to pass to a newest kernel

I thank you again for dsdt

P.S.: at boot time all graphic kext from intel and ATI and NVIDIA are in blacklist (i don't know what this mean)

use original kernel

try it

use Extra folder MacBookPro6,1

see the first post

i must remove all kext from CHAM and use that ones?

What is the original kernel??? :guitar:

it seems that the legacy_kernel that i'm using is not original or i'm wrong?

DSDT is not original = remove dsdt from /Extra and use boot cd to boot hard disk 80 . then use run_me .

or dsdtse .. extract dsdt button.

Thank you for explanation!

I have tried to boot hd without dsdt inside Extra . It always gave me kernel panic.

Not sure why boodcd will boot hard drive without dsdt inside Extra...

well if it is absolutely necessary to boot without dsdt i can try to reinstall 10.5

no .. just use the boot cd.. then hit ESC or F8 on the screen where u switch to dvd.. u dont.. u just hit esc then it asks what drive u want to boot from..type 80 press enter

then type -v -x then u can run the run_me from first post

or boot a linux live cd to run acpidump

then u can post here and fix dsdt

Hey MaDlOn,

I'm an idiot. I was going to try to run auto patcher again and see if I could get the dsdt fixed before I bugged you so I removed the dsdt from /extra and rebooted. Now I cant use my keyboard or mouse. Any ideas on a chameleon boot tag to give me usb while I run the autopatcher. I have another copy of the disk so I can put the dsdt back but I'd like to get it sorted out. Any ideas? Thanks CFI

hi MaLd0n.

Can you edit my DSDT?

My specification is:

- i5, HM55

- 4GB RAM

- 5650m

- 17"(1600x900)

I want to have QE/Ci in my graphic card, and I need Dual Link in my DSDT. If you think another edit is helpful write me please :-)

Thank you so much.

Thank you so much.

Now I have to copy dsdt.aml to /Extra? I need special rev of Chameleon(I have rev.760)? I should delete some kexts or do something else?

I have clean Lion GM(no new kexts or another changes).

see the first post

NativePM, restart fix, etc
