Let me know whether it is working or not. :(

Woohoo! It's alive! Thank you so so much.

I added VoodooPS2Controller and IONetworkingFamily (For my Atheros 5005GS) to get PS2 keyboard/USB mouse + wireless working. Other than that it's all per your instruction.

Can I safely update to 10.6.7 now? Or do I have to make any more changes?

back up IONetworkingFamily

I have IONetworkingFamily in my Extra folder with it's version set to 1.11, and from what I understand 10.6 IONetworkingFamily is 1.8 and 10.6.7's is 1.9, so it should still load my custom IONetworkingFamily at boot. Is this correct?

Hi MaldOn, thx so much for your work, i just can`t thank you enough!!!

everything works just fine, fast and stable except WAKE from Sleep....it goes to sleep just fine with the power button no problems but it never wakes from sleep so i have to shut down and start again.

do i need a special kext for that?

Am I missing something?

thx so much again.

Ok so I haven't updated yet because I remembered I was running with -arch=i386 and wanted to get a fully working 64-bit system. I rebooted without arch=i386 and it booted fine, even said in System Profiler "64 bit Kernel and Extensions: Yes" but I noticed my wireless was no longer working. kextstat said that IONetworkingFamily was loaded and running...so do you know why the wifi stopped working when moving to 64-bit extensions? Thanks!

Hey MaLd0n!

I was wondering if you would take the time to make the dsdt or is it auto patcher? for me?

send_me.zip

Thanks :D

Edit:

I'm trying to get my Internal lvds to work, and was told I needed a dsdt with dual link info in it cause my screen res is 1600x900, so if you could add that as well that would be awesome!

The code should be this:

Name (_ADR, 0x00020000) // <--find in DSDT and add the following after: //

Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized)

{

Store (Package ()

{

"AAPL01,DualLink",

Buffer (0x04)

{

0x01, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00

}

}, Local0)

DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0))

Return (Local0)

}

Hope you can help me :)

Hello again Mald0n!

Thanks for my DV7 but I'm now with a Gigabyte!

I've got a GA-790FXTA-UD5 (with Phenom II x6) (AM3/790FX chipset) and I made a diff between your different GA patches and there are some little differences (apart from audio of course!) that make me doubt...

Is it possible for you to take a look at my dsdt?

My audio is ALC889

Thank you so much!!
