do you use biosmod?

post-557433-1301804554.gif

Biosmod für Dell Bios? No, still using A06 release orginal. Is there one available like the gigabyte bios mods?

Still having trouble getting sleep mode working. Even this file did not work even is is similar to my vostro 1500: The boot process stucks with dsdt.zeroapple modification (Broadcom BCM4328 802.11 Wireless Controller and sata controller powering down during boot) ;)

Once you told me to use an extract with dsdteditor and a special patch from you. Then I patched the dsdt extract from my vostro1500 with nvidia 8600mgt and Broadcom Wifi with your Patch Vostro 1500 zip, but sleep mode did not work properly (no wakeup up possible).

I was also wondering in system profiler that gave me an Intel WIFI adapter AGN4965 that was not built in for sure. So I ran run_me and I would like to ask, if it is possible to have a look at it. ;) Please...

This is the result of the script from my notebook Samsung RF-510 send_me.zip NawCom 0.3.1 + Retail 10.6.3 + Combo Update 10.6.6 + #####. I use VodooHDA for audio and Chameleon RC5 r.747 as bootloader. DSDT is untouched.

Hallo MaLd0n,

it would be great if you could patch my dsdt.aml, because I'm having problems with:

- Sleep (does not work at all), most annoying issue imo

- 2 of 4 USB ports do not work

- I can not change the screen brightness

My machine is a HP Pavilion dv6-3103eg

Intel® Core™ i3-370M

Intel® HM55

4 GB DDR3 (1 x 4096 MB)

500 GB SATA

ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5470 + Intel HD (the 5470 is not recognized at all, so I have to use the Intel HD without QE/CI :D )

Tell me if you need more input...

Pio

what is your processor, chipset etc?

I used Sisoft Sandra to read out all important specifications of my system, check the attached specifications.txt, you'll find everything in there: processor, chipsets etc.

Can I expect some problems with my windows 7 installation after DSDT-patching?

thx! your great man!

Thank you very much for your help.

The second graphics card is recognized now, so I can start to experiment with some drivers now...

But there is a new problem:

All USB ports (now all 4 are recognized) cause a kernel panic, when I insert a USB flash drive!? The KP also occurs when I try to use the webcam...

do you use USB roolback?

use original kexts

Thanks a lot, man. What are the fixes and should I remove any kexts?

NullCPUPowerManagement

add in boot.plist

<key>GeneratePStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GenerateCStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>

use Chameleon RC5

No, I do not use USB rollback. I'm using the original 10.6.7 kexts...

edit:

After installing the rollback with ##### 3.4 (just in case) my flash drive does not cause kernel panic any more. But the webcam still does...
