your video enabled?

no. :)

1280*800 over "Graphics Mode = 1280x800x32", but graphics acceleration not working. original x3100 kexts not load.

"GraphicsEnabler = yes" - no effect

my x3100 (0x2a02), working only after replacement appleintelGMAX3100FB.kext from 10.5.2

Hi MaLd0n,

Can you help?

In BIOS I've got:

ACPI -> S3(STR)

HPET support -> Enabled

HPET mode -> 64-bit mode

In System Prefs->Energy Saver I've got:

Put the hard disk to sleep when possible->Enabled

Wake for Ethernet network acces->Disabled

Allow power button to put the computer to sleep->Enabled

Start up automatically after a power failure->Enabled

Installed 10.6.0 again with the latest DSDT from you.

Still same problem. Monitor goes to sleep.

CPU fans and hard disk keeps running.

When I press powerbutton computer goes very quickly to sleep, seems to work.

Wake with powerbutton, computer starts, hard disk is running. No monitor and USB mouse light does not light up.

Hardware reset does not help. Have to put system down by pressing the power button for a while.

Can also wake the computer by pressing the mouse button, but no monitor . . . enz.

What can I try more? Any ideas?

Thanks

@MaLd0n

sooo on

Now i have re-managed my USB Boot-Stick

It now runs with your DSDT and the following kexts

post-150061-1294791604_thumb.png

Here the Bug-list :D

1. i have changed the FakeSMC with this one fakesmc_rev.405 because it hangs on boot. I think your fakesmc was for SnowLeo. Isn't it?

2. the Systems runs now but sleep works only over menu. On Powerbutton the System freeze.

3. Wake from USB doesn't work.

4. Wake on Lan doesn't work from standby (It worked only if the is System complete Off)

5. Bonjour doesn't work. As you can see in Screenshot (Home Server also a Device). I have no kext loaded for LAN

except the 8169 retail loaded by system.

thanks for your help and your patience. :blush:

Maldon,

Thanks big time! The dsdt from post #1504 has fixed my sleep problems, completely apparently...(I'm using Voodoo P-state kext in S/L/E, don't know if I should be, but it seems to be working correctly :( )

However, I don't know if you injected any HDA info, but upon using new dsdt, I started getting KP for VoodooHDA.

I prompltly removed it using trust Nawcom boot disc, and did the usual repairs etc...

I can boot fine, but now lack sound :rolleyes:

My question is if you did make audio changes in dsdt, should I be trying to use a custom applehda (I have vanilla applehda in S/L/E, but apparently its not working) or should I be looking for something else like AppleAzalia kext?

I'll be doing some experimenting... If anyone else can answer, feel free.

Thanks again for your efforts

if you use the voodooHda

remove AppleHda

the ideal is to use a AppleHda prepared for your codec(binary and plist)

or

AppleHda patched + legacyHda

Thanks for the quick response, I have sound back, and am looking for the appropriate kexts for a permanent solution.

Keep up the good work...
