Hello MaLd0n,

i´ve got a ASUS P5K-Pro and till now i used a dsdt from Masterchief.

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...p;#entry1280888

but:

WARNING: The attached DSDT's includes many patches, including the newly added HDEF/DTGP/LAN/SBUS methods, included USB patches, but most importantly the following Intel Q9300 specific P-State fix to lower the CPU temperature:

I´ve got a E7600 and tried to insert peaces from my own dsdt into his one with no luck.

would be great if you could help because i don´t get generated speedstep with MacPro3.1 but within dsdt.

Which kexts can I remove from my extra folder?

Which kexts do I need in my extra folder?

My board comes with alc888vc audio chip and the mic never worked for me, what can I do to make it work?

well I had tried to go with the DSDT that you edited in extra folder only with fakesmc but I get Kernel panic on startup, then installing nullcpupowermanagement boots normally and looks fine but I don't know if I need another kext.

Finally still no luck with the mic or line in.

I used -v but it rebooted striaght away no chance to view the error. it was doing a {censored} load of debuging though.

AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement has not been deleted and has always worked.

I have managed to fix it by just doing a arch=i386 -f -v then booted back in 64bit mode.

I see what you mean? this is weird it was loading on my very buggy DSDT. will do a repair on permissions just incase.

Right AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext is now loaded. was using the legacy_kernel no on Vinilla kernel.
