I am using just AppleHDA without Legacy and it works! Thank you so much, I have been wanting to have this working properly for 4 months... :)

 

 

Update: There is a constant static/noise when I connect my headphones to the front. Have you heard of this?

How do I know for sure I am using Chameleon RC5? I downloaded it from here, and installed manually; but when I boot, the screen still says RC1 from when I first installed Chameleon...

Hi! I'm trying to do this for my HP 6710b notebook, but I noticed that it is not yet in your 'supported' list. I Started the run_me.zip and this is the result. The reason why I wanted to run your script/program is because sleep does not yet work and audio is not recognized in System Profiler. I occasionally get a kernel panic from AppleIntelX3100FB, but it's twice a week and I'm nog sure if that's related... Could you please let your light shine on this one?

My video works natively (X3100), and the sound comes from a ADI1981. The sound is currently used with voodoo because I couldn't manage to fix HDEF/AZAL :/

- shutdown/restart doesnt work w/ DSDT, w/o DSDT its works fine. wierd ? i've tried put EvoReboot or OShaltrestart but none of them works well with DSDT.

- hdef injection, i dunno what's wrong but i am pretty sure i have patched properly but still doesnt get any sound with applehda 10.6.2/4. any suggestion?

what matters is that it works very well

I have some problems

in some cases with GE

so I use this kext

ALC 889A, dev id 885.

 

i have tried all combo from Gigabyte (889A) sounds thread but none of them works.. could you guide or maybe gave me proper instruction to make it works.. well actually i managed to get the sound works using azaliakext but that just gave me stereo output only without any input..

edit: thanks for dsdt fix, i'll try now!

 

restart doesnt work well, but shutdown ok! i'll try with kexthelper such osxhaltrestart or evoreboot hopes it helps. one thing i notice from your fixes is that my hd read cache has increased very well, now @ 73mb/s before that i only got half performance.. just like usual mald0n you did a great job again! :angel::angel:

Haha yes it is when it comes to AMD, we have to test it.. and for the holy cow it seems that i can't never get it to work with DSDT mods . it looks like hackintosh bouncing back the injection and says "Omg.. you are not intel platform.. get the f7ck out"

Edit: One more thing regarding USB Built-In Fix especially for OHCI controller w/o DSDT mod, i am using andy usb patch.. but that not fixing my usb sleep problem tho!

would be better to remove the unused devices(SPKR, FDC, LPT, UAR1...)

than caring for a few more lines found in DTGP
