Everest should do this(ACPI Tools)

Why would you want this table?

I don't know :-) , saw some other one use it, but perhaps it's nothing for me :-)

Anyway, I did a new reboot with your latest DSDT file :-) see my log

so far what have you add to my original file ? or are there more things you think I should have ;)

Thanks for your help.

EDIT

FYI

is right

if the kernel disables power management

you need not use this kext

NullCPUPowerManagement::init: properties=0x788c480

run kextstat

and see that this kext is not loaded more

you do not need it

Hi MaLd0n

I have remowed following kext

AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement

AppleIntelCPUPowerManagementClient

I don't know if that is BAD ? Should I install theme again?

But still some errors,

Nov 28 19:49:31 localhost kernel[0]: warning: skipping personalities in blacklisted kext com.apple.driver.AppleIntelMeromProfile
Nov 28 19:49:31 localhost kernel[0]: warning: skipping personalities in blacklisted kext com.apple.driver.AppleIntelNehalemProfile

Nov 28 19:49:31 localhost kernel[0]: warning: skipping personalities in blacklisted kext com.apple.driver.AppleIntelYonahProfile

And what would these erros cause for problem to me

Nov 28 19:43:57 localhost kernel[0]: USBF:	0.709	AppleUSBOHCI[0x7a5a000]::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep
Nov 28 19:43:57 localhost kernel[0]: USBF:	0.711	AppleUSBOHCI[0x7a5a800]::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep

The 1st time i tried this, it worked fine, but i did it from a Snow Server with dsdt fixes applied, so after installing a fresh install of a normal snow on the same machine, i couldn't apply the new dsdt to the new install.......

Anyway, i downloaded the patcher again from the new install, and it came up with these errors:

[Line 4060 type Error message Name already exists in scope (PMRS)]

[Line 4064 type Error message Name already exists in scope (SLPE)]

My Specs are as follow:

MB: GB Ep45-Extreme

CPU: Core 2 Quad Q6600 (8M Cache, 2.40 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB)

GFX: XFX Nvidia 250GSO 1Gb

RAMS: 8Gbs

If you need any more info about my specs, PM me.

Thanks a lot in advance.

reapply the Auto-patcher

Hello MaLdOn,

Been very busy but I wanted to thank you. The dsdt you optimized for me works great. If I take out the NullCPU kext it has a definite effect of performance, it is 60% faster with it. Anyway I've got sound now too. Thanks again. Chris

test shutdown

I forgot to mention

but he was also applied

Shutdown just fine.. the weird thing is that sometimes waking up from deep sleep mouse & keyboard (both usb) freeze, and sometimes sleep doesnt work either (rarely). i had no ideas what the hell happened.. but it looks like on appleusbOHCI.. system profiler says that its OHCI detected as expansion while ehci controller is built-in.

EHCI/UHCI dsdt fix has solved many problem for proper sleep but i havent seen any dsdt fix for OHCI. So... any thoughts about this sleep problem that survive for ages.. :)

you can use this same

only that I remove almost anything that is not used by OsX

to extract the original, use everest(Windows)
