Gandalf2003
I used iasl -g to extract dsdt under win7. Here's the file (dsdt_GBTUACPI.dsl) and the patched one (dsdt.aml) I remember that the first time I have extracted dsdt under osx. I saw the notice you wrote about cameleon and an already installed dsdt in the extra folder. Maybe I was wrong with the 1st extraction ... dsdt_gandalf.zip

eledu71
HI! Today I've installed SL on this mobo without any problems. Almost everything except for audio was working out of the box. Now, I dindt use any DSDT. Is there something I'm missing here? I mean, if I put a custom DSDT, is there somenthing that is going to be better? Thanks! eledu71
native power management?sleep without kext? Shutdown, Lpc, smbus, remove, rename, etc? send me a kextstat I want the processor to run full speed allways, so I don't have to care about native power management, or am I wrong? Anyway, how do I know if it works or not? Sleep works perfectly with myhack's sleepenabler. Shutdown is working as fast as I've never saw before! And like a charm. LPC: I don't know what is this. SMBUS: how do I know if it works or not? Remove? Rename? What? Thanks in advance. EDIT: I just noticed in my original post that I didn't mension that I've used myhack 1.

aMuse
Hey MadLd0n, thanks for keeping this thread alive and all the work. I am planning on installing 10.6.6 on OCZ SSD (Sata) tomorrow. Is there an easy way to make the SSD bootable from OS X? I prefer installing from OS X with the new drive connected. Also, my last DSDT file hasn't changed since Dec 28th, (see post #108). Do I need to repatch or am I good to go? Is there a newer chameleon version for GA-EP35-DS3R? Thanks a million, aM
Synaesthesia
Dude get Lizard here: http://darwinx86.net/software/darwinx86_software.html Click on "Install and Update" - it will get the latest Chameleon and install it for you on your new SSD. Then just put in the necessary kexts, DSDT, boot.plist etc files as usual. Run Pfix and you're sorted.

aMuse
Hey MaLd0n, Thanks again for all your help. You have created a whole group of OSx86 fans here in Toronto. A good friend recently started trying to DSDT patch his eVGA board (EVGA 132-GT-E768-KR, it is one of the X58 FTW3 variety) but without much success. Do you think your patcher could do the trick? As always, thanks for all your help, aMuse
