Gringo Vermelho
Read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nonvolatile_BIOS_memory If you're running Snow Leopard and it hasn't happened to you yet, then it won't happen. Some motherboards don't have this issue with Snow Leopard. falegname homeless
Why would you want to do that? just in case of problem with the pc (caused by snow leopard cmos reset). It's true to remove the cmos battery to remedy the problem? I want to explain: I want to install snow leopard but I'm afraid about cmos reset becouse i've heard that the pc in this case won't turn on... You prevent CMOS reset with a DSDT.aml patched for RTC Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/231532-how-to-restore-pc-after-snow-cmos-reset/#findComment-1545519 Share on other sites

I don't know hazard (i install only retail), but this choice may be a DSDT.aml patched.
