crazybirdy
NP, maybe crazybirdy can I did some test today for 10.10.x with test1, test2 boot files. All versions boot fine with both boot files as attached bdmesg. So, I think, we don't need "Found Yosemite (<= 10.10.4) EXT pattern: patched!". BTW, how about to fix EXT for 10.12.x? FYI. PS: Reinstall 10.10.0 and update to 10.10.1, 10.10.2. 10.10.3, 10.10.4, 10.10.5 with dmg as below for each test. Micky1979
Ok this one should fix: loading extensions from EE in 10.12.x (I hope). load Sierra's createinstallmedia installer first step to load Web Drivers about web drivers I need that you use the kernel flag 'nvda_drv=1' booting Sierra. For this I need the IOreg please.. Edited January 30, 2017 by Micky1979 test file removed

mitch_de
I tested boot_tetst4.zip Removed FileNVRAM Module , reboot Nvidia Web drivers loaded without the chameleon FileNVRAM Module El Capitan , GREAT. I dont use /E/E kexts, always in L/E oder /S/L/E - not vanilla but easy working. It boots now much faster, that FileNVRAM module seems to slow down chameleon boot part massive. i will test Sierra also later.
Micky1979
Sorry, the patch require KernelBooter_kexts=Yes and nvda_drv=1 as Kernel Flags. In El Capitan should work out of the box using only nvda_drv=1, I'm intresting in Sierra.... all using boot file here: #3971

cecekpawon
That is good patching the info.plist of prelinked kernel? Well yes Micky, sorry for delay. The point is, you can comment out that procedure if not actually used anywhere to speedup process in Chameleon.

I'm looking for a Typo somewhere, that should be the problem; Anyway can you show me the output of this in 10.12.3? uname -a Now I'm going to update to 10.12.3 my self.. P.S. KernelBooter_kexts=Yes is clearly working on your boot log. EDIT Yep, there's a typo: kernel 16.3.0 is for 10.12.2, so Sierra 10.12.3 has 16.4.0, but actually is associated with the wrong OS. mitch_de
Great, that some devs also support Chameleon - which is at least for older / non UEFI Setups much easier to config.
